What do B2BGateway and the Commodore 64 have in common?

Just like the Commodore 64 in 1982, B2BGateway.Net, a world leader in cloud based fully integrated EDI and Data Integration solutions, will make its debut at the 2012 International CES.

B2BGateway.Net will be at CES to support existing and new clients’ EDI and Data Integration needs. Over thirty of B2BGateway.Net’s current clients will be attending the show including MerchSource, CWD Limited, Buffalo Technology, Consumer Cellular and Dream Gear to name but a few.

30 years ago this week the very first Commodore 64 was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The iconic machine went into production just eight months later and a legend was born. According to Commodore 64 fan site C64.com, the personal computer was first shown as a prototype at CES in VIC-20 casing in January 1982.The Commodore 64 had just 64k of RAM and 20k of ROM. During its lifetime, sales totaled between 12.5m and 17m units and for a time it outsold IBM PC clones, Apple Inc computers and Atari 8-bit family computers. Part of the reason for its success was it was sold in retail stores as opposed to electronics stores. It was still selling more than 1.5m machines by the early 1990s

At CES, B2BGateway.Net will also be demonstrating Webconnect 2.0, the latest version of their highly acclaimed web based EDI solution. WebConnect 2.0 allows vendors and suppliers to trade EDI business documents - such as purchase orders, invoices, shipping notifications, etc. with their trading partners.
B2BGateway.Net also offers fully integrated EDI solutions for suppliers who would like complete EDI integration with their Accounting Package\ERP software solutions.

However, unlike the Commodore 64, B2BGateway.Net is already looking forward to meeting you and/or your successors at CES 2042!
